Our mission
The story behind the foundation
The Jung Hwang Legacy Foundation was created to carry out the 700 year plan of Grandmaster Jung Oh Hwang.
After winning the silver medal in 1984 for South Korea in judo, Grandmaster Hwang moved to the United States to further his education and share his knowledge of martial arts.
The inspiration behind the 700 year plan is to create a legacy that impacts current and future generations.
With that framework the Jung Hwang Legacy Foundation is impacting lives by providing oportunites for individuals to improve their current conditions in areas such as education, health, food and security.
